I have heard (but never actually seen) that some 16's will fit. But I have also heard about one tire dealer who shaved off part of the caliper to get 16's to fit, not exactly the right way in my mind.

I am planning on running 17" snows (WT-05's) this winter. I'm running a second set of 17x7.5's all the way around. The height shouldn't really matter, just the width and it doesn't snow enough in Boston to make me want to go any skinnier than 7.5's (not sure you can get 17's any skinnier either). If you get 17's you can run them as track wheels in the summer which makes a nice tradeoff also...
