I agree with Artie -- they are obligated to send it back to BMW for analysis if they expect to be re-embursed for the warranty work. I would stay on top of this with the help of your dealer. I am extremely surprised that a specialist (technician/engineer) did not verify the integrity of the remaining injectors and perform further quality control testing on your car.

I've heard of functioning anomalies in first year models and an engineer was on the scene to thoroughly investigate that perticular car, which in this case happened to be an Acura.

Anyhow, I (all of us I assume) would be super interested in being kept informed of any progress or additional information on this issue.
