CD Changer Reception/Radio Reception Bad (archive)

The radio stations are a bit staticy, but not too bad, but the cd changer (uses FM signal) isn't very clean... any idea why. I don't know if that's how it always is and will be but it's how I got the car.

It's a 86 BMW 325es
