I bought my 323i on 9/22(my 20th birthday), and this was my first car ever(my family had a long family tie and obsession with bimmers). I took my car to the dealer and he took me to go home and open the doors and let it dry for some time and see what happens. So I did, but it never improved, and more water seemed to be coming forth from nowhere. Eventually my dealer took my car(I had to take a cab home), and said they can probably solve the problem in three days. But at last it took them more than three days to figure out the problem, which is a torn gasket connecting some air-conditioning system. He said he was sorry that these sort of things happened but you can tell he didn't mean it(He asked me to rate them as excellent if there's any survey). It took them another four days to finish the problem, but from then on the trouble really starts(and I wished I hadn't bring my car to the dealer). When I took my car back that day, it felt completely different. First I noticed black, greasy spots of finger prints all over my interior(over 10 of them, over obvious on the light grey leather, also on the doors), then I saw the leather on the inside of my door are scratched and some inner foam had been exposed; also I've left a box of chocholate in the car and it's gone; my transmission made funny "click, click" noises when I shift and it had trouble going into "Park", and the orange indicator on my trans didn't fall into place(it was just not there, and when I was driving back home, at about 45 mph, the transmission shifted on its own will from D to N, and the engined is revved up into the red zones on the odometer.) Then more outrageously I found a contraceptive(!!) instruction booklet underneath the driver's seat and the car had been driven for 8 mile since last time I bought it in. When I asked the dealer he said it's normal that they had to test the car after they finished fixing it, then shrugged.
: When I went home that day, the road felt less smooth, the whole ride is more rough(I hope it's nothing just psychological). And when I got home, I looked at my car and gees, the whole lower piece of body is detached from the upper one on the back, at the left side, and when I inspected the other side(I gave it a little, tender push) there was an audible click and a piece of U-shaped wedge 1-cm across fell out from some where, and the lower piece started sliding down. Well I took the car back to the dealer again and eventually he did fix the body problem, but the transmission thing he said it was one of his technician fault that he didn't know how to use the transmission and tried to ease out the transmission by shoving it up and down(the dealer even laughed - I couldn't hide my disgust, but I tried to be polite). And the transmission indicator is still out of place until now. This dealer...he didn't seem to take me, or other customer, too seriously. Every time I return he wears this expression like saying, "oh..jez, what's wrong again? I had other more important things to do." I really would like to reflect my opinion in the survey but no one really called. The paint is still not in, and I ordered foglights for my car but the dealer said it's back ordered, and the CD-charge I ordered at the very beginning -- I'm still waiting for the extension cord(he never took the time to explain why I'm wait or why the cord is needed, I had to check the web to find out on my own).
: Just two weeks ago my speakers on the right side went dead, but came alive after three days of rest. There are several time that my key doesn't work - it will only unlock the driver's door and no matter how many times I press it the other three doors are locked. I even tried to turn on the engine and use the lock button inside, but it didn't work as well. The only way is to manually open the doors one by one from within. One last problem, both of the back doors are not closing right, I had to basically slam them really hard to get them closed, and I hated doing it. I brought the car to the dealer(again that expression) and he said there's nothing to do about it. I'm really frustrated sometimes. Finally, is it normal sometimes for the brakes to feel like you're stepping on a spring(that it pushes your feet back when you apply brake)? Also is it normal to that the accelerator trembles a little as I gas? The trembling sometimes go away and besides I didn't feel it on my mom's 325i.

You need to seek legal recourse, have the car classified as a lemon, and have BMW replace it or refund your money!! Oh, and you need to tell your service department off.
