I have a 328 E46 with the Sport package, and have a co-worker with a 323 E46 with just the Premium package.

Edmunds is somewhat correct that the buttons are smaller than needs to be. When driving with the full-size wheel of my friends car the buttons are big enough to use when turning, the sport wheel on the other hand is difficult to use the buttons when turning.

With the above said, we both agree that the feel of the 3-spoke wheel is better and its smaller size is more usable.

For my preferences, I'd rather have smaller buttons and a more usable steering wheel than the oposite.
