If a copycat car company like Mistubishi copies my E46's design (or better yet, they flat out copied the E36 lights on their Diamante), it does not make my car's design any less desirable just because it was copied. The Lexus GS copied the Mercedes E class' front lights. Do you think that this makes the MBZ E class design any worse now because it was copied by Lexus? Does a fake Van Gough ruin the real painting because it was copied? I don't think so.

I rest my case.
