Without stirring up a huge controversy, let me just say that be glad that you don't live in Germany.

True, there's the autobahn where over 70% of them are still posted with "slashes-in-a-circle" sign, but along with the right to speed with impunity comes boat loads of rules and regulations.

In your case, if you were in Germany, you would have to REPLACE both rear tires, no if's and but's about it. It is ILLEGAL to repair Z, V, and W rated tires. But seriously, if you drive like most of the M3 pilots, aren't you just a little bit worried the next time you take that 40mph onramp at 85mph with your patched tire?
