and like you said probably with old model. When we started shoping for this car that was about the first thing I learned. (i.e. new body style) Some people really hate THIS fact also though. Don't trust new designs, first year model, ect. But the e36 and e46 are different enough that I could not buy the older model. The new model may/(will) have it's problems. I am especially worried about the cats in the manifold and the potentially dreadful long term problems they may cause. They may get redesigned. But I do not think they will get removed. This is one of the main reasons the e46 is rated LEV. Honda is starting to design engines with cats in same place. Got to take some of the 'bad' perhaps to get the 'good' features of this model and hope for the best.
The mag writer did not seem to know what cars he was talking about though.
