Alpine is definitely the only way to go for head units and changers. Years ago while in college I sold car stereo eqpt. and Alpine was by far the most reliable for in-dash and changer units. Personally, I would go with the in-dash unit. The changer will require a separate head unit (and $) to operate and get equal sound quality. They do make a changer that you can hook up to your existing radio but it essentially turns the changer into a radio station and the sound quality isn't as good. Hope this helps.

: Looking at the prices I see that the cd you have up front is the same price as the one with the 6 disc in the back of the trunk. Of course, Alpine is the best and that is what i'm talking about.

: So which is more preferable in the long run? A Alpine 6 disc in the back or just a 1 disc one up in the front... any quality differences????

: Please tell me which one to get..

: Thanks
