Finding the dud in BMW's North American lineup is easy. It's the underpowered and overpriced 318ti.

DUMP THE DUD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even lowly A4 owners make fun of you guys.

: I have a 98 318ti w/active pkg. bright red and quite fun. I test drove the 323i w/sport pkg (twice), and loved the handling (no roll) and silky, torquey Bimmer six. After reading many of the messages, i wonder if I should wait for the second year of E46 production before trading, or not trade at all. I don't like the look of the new coupe, and can't afford the M, and I have grown accustomed to the 323's looks. I am turning to my bimmer brothers for sage advice.....
