Well.. I don't know if this is convincing enough but I love driving stick and I woudln't have it any other way, traffic or not. Especially on the E46 -- the clutch is light and the stick is very smooth...

: It does have ADEQUATE kick, I checked it out today. Not as good as the stick but as my dealer said, "thats what you sacrifice if you want your left leg rested". guess I will try my first automatic albeit kicking and screaming. Unless someone here really convinces me otherwise tendinitis notwithstanding.
