Maybe leasing would work for you, since you're saving for a house anyway (a much better investment than a car because they are depreciating assets). Negotiate mileage allowance (10 to 15k/yr typically) to suit your driving needs.

It sounds as if you would choose the 328 if money were no object and leasing could get you there. Take your time before you decide because once you do, it'll cost you if you change your mind and want a different car.

All three cars A4/323/328 are excellent machines. Good luck.
