: My primary concern are the brakes, everything else I would immagine to be fine, although going from a dry sump motor to a regular wet sump also is of some concern for me. Is there a baffle in the oil pan?
I don't know, but I've NEVER heard of anyone with a contemporary Bimmer at a school I've been to losing an engine.
I've read posts here about possible warped rotors, but the 328i has ventilated fronts AND rears. If you warp them, you can buy some of the sexy looking aftermarket cross-drilled rotors advertised in Roundel.
(only a car nut would think cross-drilled rotors are sexy looking).
My 328i sport/premium arrives sooner than expected (1/11 at the port, 1/15 at the dealer), so now I have to see if I can get into the school at Thunder Hill!
