: I did a pre pay lease on my 323i thru BMW financial. One lump sum upfront and after 3 years I can walk away, extend lease, or buyout. You save some interest charges by paying upfont. With the high BMW residuals (3 year, 45K miles was 65%), leasing made good sense for me. No way will you be able to trade or sell a 3 year old 323i with 45K miles and get 65% of original MSRP. Financial advantages are less money now (saving for house), no payments (helps house loan qualification).
