I have recently done repair to my battery board (SI) on my 325e, and now I have no odometer. All else is operational. Does anyone have a clue as to what could be at fault here? I have checked my shop manual, but they are vague when it comes to instrumentation. All fuses and connection check out good. Does that signal go through the SI board? The local BMW dealer says that it is most probably the speedo itself. Sure could use some advice. This car only has 28,000 miles and it is a 1985, it is obviously well cared for and loved and I cannot stand having something inoperable.

I am not on your list currently, so I would appreciate it if you could send your responses to me at [email protected]

Thank you,

Ed Fisher
