...when downshifting. Between shifts you disengage the clutch, rev the motor, before going down into the next gear. It is to equalize engine and transmission rpms. I am avoiding anything like that during the break in period. I am being very delicate with my downshifting as well. Put 500 miles on the car in first week. (You can tell I LOVE it!) Approximately 700 miles to go!
