: I did it while testing an A4. The dealer had a fit. Somthing about "not respecting other peoples property". Needless to say, I'm now driving a BMW. Hey, this is a sports sedan I'm testing, not Buick Century.
"Testing" a sport sedan doesn't mean "beating up a car during its break-in period". Did you ever stop to consider that some poor bastard is going to *buy* that car? And that you personally have just raised the odds that he's gonna have to pay out of his own pocket for repairs eight years from now? And not only that, but you have the gall to offhandedly dismiss the concept of "respect for other people's property"? You'd be singing a different tune if somebody keyed your car wouldn't you? Oh, but that's different. That's YOUR car, not somebody else's.
By the way, I test drove your car before you bought it. I flat-spotted the tires and repeatedly slipped the clutch while I was driving it. I hope you don't mind; after all, it's not a Buick Century, right?
