: An A4 1.8T with everything except the Bose stereo, all weather package, and automatic tranny runs about $25,500. To equip a 323i similary, you need to add the trip computer, rear folding seats, moonroof, sports package, and leather steering wheel. I've never seen a better deal on a 1999 3 series than $1000 more than MSRP. With a MSRP on this car of about $28,200, the actual price with a REALLY good deal would be over $29,000. Audi resale value has been awful in the past, but the A4's resale value has been pretty good so far based on newspaper ads and such. Anyways, I don't think you can go wrong with either car. I wish I could have them both :)
