: I test drove a 323 sedan with the sports package and think BMW has made their new line too refined. Even with the sports suspension the car is still not able to handle fast turns like my 95 Ford Probe(shame on you BMW). I think Audi's A4 is a better bet and at a cheaper price as well.

I owned a Probe GT and now I own a 323i w/Sports Package. I can recall nothing about the Probe that I would consider superior to the 323i, except luggage room. In fact, I can recall nothing about the Probe that I would consider equal to the 323i. I checked out the A4 before buying the 323i and found the front drive A4 in particular lacking. Obviously you and many of the responders on this board, myself included, are not in agreement but that's OK, that's why they make more than one kind of car. Why do you think that your impressions of the 323i or the A4 or your Probe are of any interest or relevance to the readers here?
