Sorry to hear that!
But the small loss may save your another
big loss on the same day or near future
based on human history. That is because
you must lose something then.
Small damage is good, isn't it!
: In a parking lot here in Boulder, Co. a chick in a Toyota truck did not look before backing up and... SLAM!!! right into my new black 328i, before I could react. Unfortunately, she hit me right in the front corner, to maximize the damage she could do at 5mph. I must admit I was pretty upset at first...I had wanted to keep my car in perfect shape (obviously)...and nobody likes to crash a 1 1/2 month old car, even if it is an American car. ( ;
: Well, maybe I will get those clear replacement turn signal lenses, as she smashed the *?* out of the orange one, cracked the headlamp glass cover, and did some pretty nice body damage to the corner of the body and bumper. It just was not my day. The ironic thing was that I parked pretty far away from the store to avoid the crammed spaces, where I had a funny feeling somebody would slam a door into my car today. Well, from the looks of things, in the case of a real accident, our E46s will crumple up pretty nicely to protect us (and at 5mph too, much to the dislike of insurance companies). Good thing those six airbags didn't attack my pregnant wife and I.
: Peace and thanks for the empathy,
