Well, you can order the alarm, install it yourself and have the dealer program it. I've heard prices as low as $215 for the alarm and the do it yourself labor is supposed to be fairly easy.
The same goes for the CD changer, sounds like you could save a couple hundred by buying it seperately and installing it yourself, fairly straightforward as well.
As for the floor mats, well I'm buying a BMW and I think its rediculous that my car doesn't come with floor mats. I told my dealer up front that I won't pay extra for floor mats. I even had one dealer ready to throw in the carpet and rubber mats at no extra charge.
If you look back through past posts you will see some info about where to buy these from legitamate BMW people, at much reduced prices, I can't remember the name of the place that has the best prices and my bookmarks were toasted yesterday. I'm sure someone will come to the rescue.
: My dealer gave me these prices on options.
: From what I heard, there is no aftermarket product yet for the changer, so I have to buy BMW's. Is that true? Isn't there a changer with more than 6 CDs?
: Alarm $500
: CD changer in the middle $695
: CD changer on the left side $745
: Floor Mats $125
: What do you think?
