: : The price difference betw 17" and 18" is nothing compare the much better look of 18".
: : In fact, it depends too on WHAT 17" or 18" you buy : sometimes very good 17" could be better than 18", but remember : wheels are extra important in global car look !!!

: : Me :
: : SUMMER : 4x 255/35-18 with BBS 1998 models extra-finition (rim : 700 USD / piece official pricing)
: : and Dunlop 9000 (very silent and high durability)
: : WINTER : 4x 205/55-16 with ugly BMW rims...what a bad time

: : 18 255/35 for front wheel, will it be too wide?

big of a wheel can quickly make your E46 look like a lowered Honda. But to each his own I guess. I am not too concerned with the "global car look". I for one don't spend significant dollars on anything that does not improve performance. The simple fact is tht the plus two application does not necessarily improve handling.
