Guys,

I'm not looking to be lectured about safe driving and the like. Didn't we get the cars to drive, anyway? Most of the time, I never go more than 70. That being said, I was driving on the NJ turnpike today. For most of trip, I was going about 80, only a little faster than a good portion of traffic. However, on a couple of open stretches, where there was only a few cars, I wanted to take this baby to 100 just to see what the car would feel like. Armed with my trusty radar detector, I got to about 105. Alive and glad to report that the car "felt like it was going about 70", there was still no shaking or vibration on the wheel and the engine was purring and didn't sound or feel overexerted. It was absolutely incredible. Obviously, I don't recommend this behavior. But, if you ever do give it a little throttle on the open road, you won't be disappointed. Happy driving.

Alan M.
