I live in Switzerland (south of Germany) and here many people use to drive 90 mph on motorways.

But sometimes when i go to Germany, i often see groups of cars wanting to spend not much time on motorways (BMW 5-7, Mercedes, Porsche,..), and thus going 130-140 easily on the left.. not a problem there..

So BMW were made to go without any problems at 130-140mph cruising speed.

In fact with a 328-E46 you can block speedcontrol at 130 mph (220 kph) and driving is OK (of course not in heavy traffic..)

My friend went to Paris last summer (Geneva-Paris, 500 kms - 300 miles) and did it in less than 3 hours (328-E46-black), blocking almost always speedcontrol at 200 kph (121 mph) : french motorways are very well done..
