You can order almost any combination of options you want. Want sport seats with regular suspension? Got it. Want power seats on a 323i Sport (or even 318i, for that matter)? You got it. Want sport wheel on non-sport car? Got it. PDC on a 318i? Got it. Rain Sensors? Got it. I wish they did this here. I like the packages, but if I could individually choose options, it would enable us to make perfect cars. I would have still gotten 323i, with sport seats, tires, suspension, and wheel, but i would prefer the 323i premium (style 45) or base 328i rims (style 42). I would also have gotten the armrest from factory and power seats.
Although the Europeans pay alot, they get to make the perfect car.

: : Ahhhhh...i see. Little slow in the head today.
: : But, why they get the cool toy and we don't? I want it I want it I want it.
: : : I don't think he got steptronic. I think he took pictures of Euro-spec e46's that happen to be in the showroom also.
: There are lots of options in Germany that BMW NA doesn't let us get. Same goes for the E39 and E38. But, just so you can drool a little, my German E46 brochures (from September) has options:
: Electric rear sunshade
: Headlight washers
: really cool dual-cloth and leather sport seat interior
: The external mirrors are electrically retractable.
: The list goes on. To me, lack of Steptronic in the US is the most annoying ommision (although not as bad at the 4-speed gearbox in the US 528iA!)
