Performance is the reason I bought this car. I always travel at speeds in excess of 80mph(traffic permitting) when on US highways. If you know what you are doing, and check your mirrors, (not only for faster traffic, but for police in US,) then you should be fine. Most US highways were engineered for 30-40 year old cars to drive 75 on. A new BMW, no less, will have no problem tackling the interstates.
