Jimmy/DH,

I have owned several E36's (4 door 325i manual, Convertible manual and 4 door auto 328) and have recently test driven the manual E46 with Sport and Premium packages. I was VERY impressed with the E46. Very nice performance (I think better than the 36's) THe car felt more solid and stable at speeds, yes I did enjoy the high acceleration/speed on the test drive. Let's put it this way, I almost bought the car right there but decided to wait for the coupe. The interior is definitely more comfortable and specious. Driving feel is typical BMW precise!. The brakes were amazing.

I do not agree with anyone that says that the car has lost something in its latest form.

I am definitely buying the coupe when it comes out and then possibly trading in for an M3 in 2 years

If you have any questions let me know

Juan
