weather. When you first sit on leather in freezing temperature, it feels like you're sitting on a block of ice. It's much less so with leatherette. When you buy leather for $1500, you must spend the $500 for heated seats if you live in a cold climate. Not so with Leatherette.

: I think the leatherette is more susceptable to temperature changes. I don't have heated seats, and the seats don't stay cool for that long. It is a little stiffer than leather-especially in the cold. I would've prefered cloth, but I've grown to like my leatherette. Supposedly, it will last longer(than leather), only time will tell.
