I have done Euro Delivery twice and each time it took just 3-5 days to get the car on a ship. Both times it took 6 weeks from the time I dropped off the car in Europe until the day I picked up the car at my local dealership (I live in the LA area). Also it took 5 days from the day the ship docked in the U.S. to get the car at the dealership. I think the reason you have had such a major delay is because you did not drop your car off in Munich. The E.H. Harms shipping office in Munich(Garching)is right next to a huge lot where all of the BMW's from the factory are waiting to be shipped. For this reason they have much more frequent shipments of cars from there to Bremerhaven where they are put on the ship. I am sorry to hear about the delay in getting your car, but the anticipation sort of adds to the excitement once it finally arrives. I would suggest to anybody who does Euro Delivery in the future to drop the car off at the Munich(Garching) shipping office for fastest shipping time. If you drop your car off in another country it may take longer to get your car shipped. Also if you drop your car off in Italy, they actually DRIVE your car back to Munich instead of putting it on a truck or train. Scary!
