That is ABSOLUTELY not true. Dealers did that in the eighties when many GERMAN spec BMW's were imported to the U.S., I know because I had a 1984 German 323i. The Euro Delivery cars, however, are U.S. spec cars that are EXACTLY the same car that you can buy at the dealer's lot. The warrenty is the same as all other U.S. BMW's and is offered by BMW of North America. Any BMW dealership in North America has to honor the warrenty just as it does with other U.S. model BMW's. I have 2 Euro delivery cars (M3 & 528i) and have had numerous services as well as a couple of warrenty claims at more than one dealership with no problems. As a matter of fact, both my cars still have the German tourist license plate at the front, so when I take them to the dealerships they know that they are Euro Delivery cars. If any dealership does give problems to anyone about service or warrenty claims of Euro Delivery cars, please report them to BMW of North America. They will take care of it.
