But I've been told by detailers not to use it. (Wasn't given a reason, maybe someone else here knows.) I think it has something to do with the chemicals in it. I don't doubt that it cleans. I used to use windex, but the 'film' being decribed here would return much quicker. I think windex leaves a residue behind, which also makes your car windows more prone to fogging. I don't have to use the defogger as much now that I don't use windex. I don't have any scientific proof, I'm just going by what I've been told, and what I experienced.
