I've installed a radar detector yesterday in my new 328i.
I put it on the left corner of the windshield and run cable in the small opening between the windshield and the interior plate to the right side, then beween to interior plates down to the clove compartment and on the the fuse box.
I've put one wire under the fuse that controls the cigarette lighter (the wire has a capsule with it's own 3A fuse in it) but I couldn't find a "ground" anywhere close to the glove campartment area. I wound up putting ut under the nut that holds the passenger door.
Does anybody know where the "ground" is inside the car?
