BMW discontinued the M-aero package (seen on the E46 back in September 1998. BMW does offer a different aero kit as an accessory. You can add this kit to your current E46 anytime you'd like. Cost is about $950 for the kit which includes front and rear apron, and side skirt trim. Add $316 for the rear spoiler. All this come unpainted. It will cost you another $400-600 to paint and install your kit depending on the dealership. Very high compared to the M-aero kit listed for $420. Yes, the're other aero kit you can buy from other aftermarket for the same price. It all depends on your taste. Personally, I think the new aero kit makes the E46 looks very agressive. You can drop by a BMW dealership and pick up an accessory catolog for free. It will contain all the new accessories for the E46 such as; chrome exhaust tip, shift knob, etc.
