Not unless you also replace the amplifier (not necessarily the head unit). The problem is that the crossover network is built into the amp, and this will compromise the performance of a quality speaker setup. The least important speakers are the rear deck speakers, which are there mostly for "fill". The ones that will really make a difference (IF you replace the amp) are the ones mounted in the front doors.

Unless you change out both the speakers and the amp, you are likely as not to end up with sound that is no better, and possibly worse than the OEM system you now have.
