I think the cars serve different purposes. As an owner of an Audi and a BMW, I look at them as entirely different animals. BMW quit making the 325iX - why? I suspect that they felt it best to leave it to Audi to do what they do best. Audi is selling a lot of cars and about 85% of all Audis sold in the US are Quattros - they have a strong market for a great car. I have never driven an Audi that couldn't be outperformed by a (frequently more expensive BMW), but I also haven't been disappointed by any of the Audis I've driven. When I want to drive for performance, I'd take the Bimmer, but when the snow flies, old "Mr. 4 Circles" is the one that's taking me where I have to go. I'm not trying to say that you should go out and get yourself one, because maybe it won't suit your needs, but don't you and that smacked ass Anton berate those who choose to on occasion drive something that doesn't happen to wear a Roundel.
