To you all E46 owners,

Do you all go by the service interval indicator or go by mileages driven?

I've seen a few people changing oil after 3000 miles even though it's "long life oil". Dealer also told me to change oil more frequent than the indicator says! but the owner manual says that you only need to change oil when the indicator says so.

What do you say?
