the cd's get updated twice a year. it's $150 for a 1 year subscription (2 disks).

you probably don't need to update it every year. proabaly every 2 or 3 years at the most since roads don't change that much.

if you go to http://www.navtech.com/ you can find more info about the disks. that's the company that supplies the disks to BMW.
they only list some of the bigger cities they cover on their site. the actual disk covers a lot more then what they list. (atleast for the new england area anyways).
