What you are probably expeirancing is the delay between when you press the accelertor to the time it reaches teh engine. The accelerator isnt connected to the engine like in almost every other computer, its connected a comptuer which sends a signal to the engine. Its called drive by wire (all computerized) they got this design from airplanes, i think (well i know its in use on airplanes now). I think this answers your question
