Steering "play" at high speeds? (archive)

The "play" on straightaways at speeds greater than about 70 mph gets greater and greater as you go faster. At 90 mph it's too much to stay in control.

Does anyone else have this problem?

The e36 loaner I had didn't have this problem at all at high speeds.
