Well you can def. expect to pay a hefty downpayment. I was in a similar situation. I moved to the US about 2 1/2 years ago and all that was on my credit history was one credit card and a car loan over $5600,- BMWFS wanted me to put down $6500,- for a lease on a 323i giving me crap about never having borrowed that much money and all that stuff. The sales manager really tried hard to make this deal happen and brought BMWFS down to $2500,- that's including security deposit, all fees and taxes as well as first and last lease payment.

: I have *no* credit history as I just moved to the U.S. from Ireland 1 year ago. In Ireland my credit was great but that counts for zip here. I want to 3 yr lease a loaded 328 and was wondering what my leasing options are. Would a larger downpayment satisfy BMW or will they try to stiff me? Should I try a leasing company?

: Thanks in advance for the info.
