Being as how I never really paid too much attention to BMWs until recently ( introduction of the e46 ) what was the past price difference between the 325 and the 328?

Where they offered side by side, or is the 325 the older version of the 328?

: If you believe the people on A4.org that say BMW controls C&D with their advertising dollars, it's in BMW's interest for the 323i to Lose to Audi. We all know the 323i is taking sales from the 328i and hurting BMW's profit margin. The 318i never did that to the 325/328i. People now have more reason to pay up for a 328i. People are less incline to buy a car that lost to an Audi.

: That's stupid you say. BMW will lose sales because people will just buy the best car. With E46 sales so strong, I don't think BMW is worried about it right now. They just wish more people bought the 328i, because it costs them the same to make as a 323i and they get double the profit.

: BTW, I'm not taking myself very seriously. I'm just t tossing ideas around on a slow board today.
