The BMW has a much quiter engine. I prefer to shift by sound, and you can't start hearing the motor until 4K. I haven't gotten past break-in yet, so I don't know what the car sounds like at RL. Once you drive the BMW for a while, you'll realize your not revving a motorcycle engine, and get used to a normal redline.

As far as driving performance is concerned, you'll have to get used to a car that doesn't understeer. I find that alot of FWD people think it's hard to drive a RWD car fast.
