: 0.02 on shifting...
: The BMW has a much quiter engine. I prefer to shift by sound, and you can't start hearing the motor until 4K. I haven't gotten past break-in yet, so I don't know what the car sounds like at RL. Once you drive the BMW for a while, you'll realize your not revving a motorcycle engine, and get used to a normal redline.
: As far as driving performance is concerned, you'll have to get used to a car that doesn't understeer. I find that alot of FWD people think it's hard to drive a RWD car fast.
I don't think you will find it hard to drive the BMW after driving the FWD GSR. The 3 series has one of the finest chassis' built, and you will get precise, impeccable handling in a car that will slice through corners instead of understeering through them. With the CBC, it will be virtually foolproof.
If you don't live in the snowbelt, opt for performance tires instead of the all-seasons, unless you were going for the sport package.
