VAG stands for Volkswagon AG (the equivalent in the USA of Volkswagon, Inc.) How is a tool from Volkswagon going to do anything on a BMW? If you are talking about their diagnostic scanner (which resets codes), that won't work on a BMW. A lot of OBDII stuff is common between makes, but not climate control, alarm systems, remote locking, transmission control, etc.

: Anyone have a VAG tool and want to experiment with finding the right code?
