My father might be buying a 323i sedan. Working from the invoice prices on the Edmunds web site, I come up with a total of $29105 for the car and options. This is before figuring in dealer holdback, dealer profit, destination charge, advertising fees, document charges, etc. According to some people on this forum, it might be possible to get the car for $1500 to 1750 above invoice. Does that figure include the fees and corrections I just mentioned? What would be a good selling price target for this car?

Using Edmunds' formulas, with a 2.2% allowance for holdback, 3% dealer profit, 1% advertising fee, and $570 destination charge, I come up with $30214.

FYI: this car would have white paint, sport package, leather seats, auto trans, xenon lamps, H-K radio upgrade, and CD in-dash option.
