: : Hi, Everyone:
: : Just watched a program on "BMW TV" and got the changes on the sedans for the new year:
: : 1. DSC will be standard
: : 2. Auto Recirculation will be standard
: : 3. The Steptronic auto trans will begin production 9/99
: : 4. Light Yellow Metallic will replace Sea Green
: : 5. There will be a red interior offered
: : 6. The 323 will have 15" Alloy wheels standard
: : 7. The Premium pkg will have wood trim and moonroof standard, with 16" wheels only (no more 15" offered)
: : 8. The 323 will get the Sport/Premium offered

: : That's what I remember--didn't have anything to write with. Also, it did confirm the June production start.
: : I'll post more as I get more! :)
: : Take care,
: : Rick

: Apparently the MY2K coupe will have a delayed sports package production. Anyone got any more info on this? Will it also apply to custom orders?

: The color changes are the same as the coupe except there is no blue change. Strange.

Too bad about no change in blue for sedan if true--new Coupe blue that's been circulated is great--'bout time the 3er had a decent (i.e., not blackish) blue again! Most recent blues have been better than earlier E36s, but still too dark. Also, I apparently was one of few who liked Sea Green--it'd be nice to have a decent "recognizable (again not blackish or Wizard of Az) green-- perhaps early 80s Cypress Green per that era's 528i? Something that's "Bavarian" but light enough to not show every speck of dust and dirt.
