Now the car is much more solid on the highway and turns in much quicker with a heckuva lot less understeer. It made a world of difference.

DCC is probably right on in regards to BMW's autobahn-intended toe-in spec. Unless you plan on driving over 100 mph on a regular basis (live in Montana?), you can dial in more toe out for better feel at lower "US-approved" speeds.
