I thought the third point (that the car will actually accelerate in a given situation) was just a rumor. Where did you see this documented? Something about a car accelerating by itself seems unsettling....

: First, it uses the brakes to control tire spin independantly for the rear.
: Second, if the braking doesn't work sufficiently it will reduce fuel flow to the engine.
: Third, if it senses oversteer (as in when you are going around a corner on a slippery day and let off the gas), it will automatically try and compensate by INCREASING the power going to the rear wheels.
