Audi's selling point is that you can get a loaded A4 for cheaper than a loaded 3er. I think they're right in this respect. The one thing which irks me about BMW is how many more $1000's you have to spend to get a few options, relative to other cars in the same price range (other than Benz, which is about the same).

We can't really blame BMW for this too much, I suppose, since Audi has VW to mass produce 60% of the parts for it, which dramatically reduces the cost adding options.
