: Heres a stupid question but is there a way that a person may be able to track their car being built?

: I know the dealers have access to a computer database that is updated as the car is being built, shipped, etc., but can we get to that via the web?

: ????!?!??!?!?!

: Also when is production week 14? I was told my car is scheduled for production on the 14th week, I think its sometime in April isn't it? Generally it takes 30 days from the time the car begins being produced, right????

Production week 14 has passed, so have your dealer check to see if your car is still 'Status Code 150'. Yours probably already has been assigned a 'Est Depart Date'. Once you have that, you can track your car's ship --- during which you will have an opportunity to chew your fingernails and pace the floor.
Your other question is a good one too. It would be very wise for BMW to implement an online system whereby we could track our cars. (with security so day to day production can't be monitored by competitors.)
